Application
A hammer mill is a mill whose purpose is to shred or crush aggregate material into smaller pieces(below 5mm) by the repeated blows of little hammers. These machines have many sorts of applications in many industries, including:

Small grain hammermills can be operated on household current. Large hammer mills used in automobile shredders may be driven by diesel or electric motors ranging from 2000 to over 5000 horsepower (1.5 - 3.7MW).
The screenless hammer mill uses air flow to separate small particles from larger ones. It is designed to be more reliable, and is also claimed to be much cheaper and more energy efficient than regular hammermills. The design & structure of the hammermill is always determined by the end use.
Hammer Crusher /Hammer mill Working Principle:
The motor drives the rotor rotate of the hammer crusher at a high speed through the belt, and on the rotor there are series hammers, when the material get into the working areas of hammers, they are crushed by the rotating hammers of the hammer crusher with high rotation speed, the products which a re crushed to meet the required size can be discharged by the outlet and become the final products, the large size products are brought back to the crushed area by the hammers of the hammer crusher for being recrushed until they reached the required size.

The inner cooling structure of the crusher could avoid the high-temperature damage which comes from the rubbing, and increase the life of the machine.
